From the airport to the city
El Prat airport sits twenty minutes from the center, and all four options work: the difference is price, luggage and where exactly you're going.
The Aerobus
The express bus to plaça Catalunya leaves both terminals every few minutes, dawn to night, with wifi and luggage space. It's the visitor's default: direct and transfer-free.
Train and metro
The commuter train connects T2 with Sants station and Passeig de Gràcia, and the L9 Sud metro line reaches the airport from the city network: cheap and useful if your hotel sits by a stop, awkward with heavy luggage.
Taxi and ride-hailing
Published fixed fare to the center and twenty-to-thirty-minute rides: the choice with luggage, in a group or at night. Ride-hailing apps operate from the terminals' designated zones.
